At the mention of the second name Ryuzaki stopped making a circle out of chocolate chips and sighed heavily. “Beyond Birthday?” He asked quietly.
“Yeah, do you know him?” Matsuda asked.
Ryuzaki was silent for the longest time then replied, “No. No, I did not know Beyond Birthday.”

The Promise.The sound of the explosion rang in Matt’s ears. His heart started racing, he knew that wasn’t supposed to happen. It wasn’t supposed to end like this.The Promise.
He felt the relief wash over him when Mello stepped into the car, but it all came back to Matt when he saw Mello holding his face. The burn ran down the right side of his face, running from his forehead down to the middle of his cheek.
Matt began to shake a little, but turned the car on. Silence filled the car like a melody of shame and anger. After a while Matt got fed up with it. “You- you promised.” Matt said, his voice shaking.
